  Nasty member of staff makes us all feel uncomfortable every time we go to the Widnes Toby Carvery. Banging and slamming dishes and cutlery down at the table and counter. Giving sulky and nasyt looks over to us. We don't bother going there any more because of her and Toby has lost a party of 8 regulars because of her... Blonde, glasses and very nasty

  We were pleasantly surprised to find that at 6:30 on a bank holiday Friday night we were served promptly with attentive and friendly staff and the food was nice and fresh. We were able to eat outside with the dog in pleasant surroundings.

  Very enjoyable meal. Great selection,even for me as I am a vegetarian. Piping hot and well presented. The only downside was some of the vegetables were a bit undercooked for my taste. All in all a very enjoyable visit.
